Dates

• Period A: Wednesday, November 18th – Tuesday, November 24th
• Period B: Wednesday, November 18th – Tuesday, November 24th
• Period F: Thursday, November 19th – Monday, November 30th

Project – Animation

• student groups (1, 2, or 3) create stop-motion animations (Stop Motion Studio)
• illustrate a concept in chapter 10 (from the list below)
• all animations must show how I/M forces explain the concept
• text explanations are part of the videos (chalk?)
• final projects (one per group) submitted through Schoology
• detailed script required (shared Google doc)
• length = minimum of 15 seconds
• 5-question quiz required to test on the content (part of script)
• rubric for project posted through Schoology
• lots of examples on the Internets

Concepts

• viscosities of liquids
• equilibrium vapor pressure (not boiling)
• vaporization (boiling – no evaporation)
• phase diagram
• heating / cooling curve

• Class 42 – Introduction & Group Brainstorming
• Class 43 – Script Writing & App Practice
• Class 44 – Filming and Project Generation
• Class 45 – Final Editing
• December 1st – Projects Due 7:30 am
• Class 46 – Viewing Class Projects

Due Date

• submission (all sections) due 7:30 am December 1st (no exceptions)
• we will view projects during Class 46
• exam on Chapter 10 Class 48 (based on animation and class / textbook notes)
