I like Back to School Night. I have always enjoyed the experience of meeting parents and sharing the classroom with them. It is more than an obligation for me as I want parents to see that I am a valid human, qualified to be in the room. And I want that to translate to “well he seemed like a reasonable guy when I met him at back to school night.” Maybe this is a low bar to shoot for but it is enough… and I always seem to have fun.
